At KARIBUNI VZW, we make fashion that is not only good for the look, but also good for the planet. We are a non-profit organisation promoting slow fashion and ethical fashion, and we are looking for an enthusiastic volunteer to join our sales team. Do you have a passion for fashion and want to contribute to a more sustainable world? Then we have the perfect opportunity for you!

As a sales assistant, you will help customers find the perfect outfit and make sure they have a great experience while visiting our stands at festivals, (luxury) markets and fairs. You will not only give fashion advice, but also share the story behind our handmade products - and, of course, you will have the chance to sell our amazing accessories and homeware products. If you ever thought you were the best at selling, this is your moment to prove it!
Advising customers on our sustainable and ethical fashion collections.
Furnishing the sales area so that the stand always looks inviting.
Managing the checkout system and ensuring the quick and friendly handling of sales.
Knowing the products as if you designed them yourself (because honestly, who doesn't want to be an expert in what they/they are passionate about selling?).
Helping out at special events or discounts, where you might even sell the latest trendsetting outfit to a customer - and leave them beaming with happiness.
Taking care of stock management and making sure our beautiful merchandise is always in the shop neatly and on time.

Someone who can always help customers with a smile and make them feel like they are buying something special.

You have a smooth chat and can easily tell the story behind our products (even without a script).
You have experience in sales or are just super-motivated to learn (you don't have to start as a fashion expert, but curiosity is a must!).
You have an eye for detail and make sure our stand always stays neat and organised.
You are communicative, speak Dutch, French and/or English and respect deadlines.
You have a positive and flexible working attitude - every day is different, and you are ready for it!
